HISTORICAL WINE ESTATE OF LA LONDE LES MAURES

AUTHENTIC WINES OF THE VAR

The Château des Bormettes vineyard extends over 70 hectares of hillside vineyards facing the Mediterranean, in a preserved natural setting of 140 hectares of scrubland and forest. Its heart beats around the Pic Saint-Martin, its thousand-year-old cork oak, and its unique maturing cellar, all in vaults and vaulted alcoves located under the Chartreuse. Its Mediterranean grape varieties allow the production of wines of character at competitive prices. The Château des Bormettes terroir, composed of schist and quartz, combined with our know-how and passion, are reflected in the unique taste quality of our wines. We can thus offer an atypical range of white, rosé and red wines, regularly awarded medals at the profession’s most prestigious competitions.

THE CHÂTEAU DES BORMETTES: TAILOR-MADE WINES FROM PROVENCE

At Château des Bormettes, we cultivate with passion the Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Rolle (or Vermentino), Mourvèdre and Carignan grape varieties, in a vineyard undergoing a complete renewal. Implementing a sustainable agriculture approach, our team brings the estate to its best level. Our products, which are among the best wines in Provence, are regularly and successfully welcomed by professional critics, but also by our private customers.

A MEDITERRANEAN FAMILY ESTATE FOR WINES OF CHARACTER

The Château des Bormettes estate has been a family business since 1929. Managed today by Fabrice Faré, the vineyard has seen its equipment in the cellar modernized and its grape varieties diversified. The selection of vines is optimized and offers an excellent quality of grapes. Our winegrower and his team, passionate, constantly reinvent themselves to offer wines with a unique flavor, unique in Provence. Each cuvée is made according to its own vinification process which allows, during tasting, to distinguish itself strongly from the other wines of Provence.
