The end of the harvest at Château des Bormettes: a moment of sharing and celebration in our vineyard.
As the autumn sun begins to set over our vineyard, we arrive at the end of an intense and exciting period, the harvest at Domaine des Bormettes. It is a moment that is both nostalgic and jubilant, marked by the hard work of an entire team and the promise of an exceptional vintage.
A promising vintage!
This year, the weather conditions were ideal, giving our grapes perfect maturity and concentrated flavors. The harvest, carried out with care and expertise, allowed us to harvest fruits of exceptional quality. à La-Londe-les-Maures.
Teamwork : the key to success!
In our family estate, the end of the harvest is also an opportunity to pay tribute to our dedicated team. From the vineyard to the cellar, each member of the team contributed to the success of this season. Their passion, their know-how and their determination are at the heart of the quality of our rosé, white and red wines.
Christophe, Technical Director :
In permanent contact with the vineyard and the cellar, Christophe, winemaker, watches over the 72 hectares of our vineyard with passion. It begins with hand sampling of the grapes in order to monitor maturity rates and decide on the start date of the harvest.
Gilles, Mechanic:
After carrying out repairs to our machines all year round, Gilles is responsible for driving our harvesting machine. He starts this work in the middle of the night (around 3 a.m.) in order to take advantage of the cooler temperatures, a guarantee of quality work in the cellar. This machine does not crush the grapes and allows us to harvest 80% of our vineyard more quickly. The remaining 20% are manual harvests, harvested by hand.
Tommaso, Cellar Master:
With each vintage a new challenge awaits.
Yann and Arthur, Multi-skilled workers:
Yann and Arthur take care of the maintenance of our vineyard both by tractor and by hand all year round. In this harvest season, they play a key role in the cellar to support Tommaso in all the tasks to be carried out, and as usual, with a smile and good humor. Nothing scares them.
In conclusion, the end of the harvest at Domaine des Bormettes is much more than just a milestone: it is a symbol of our passion, our commitment and our vision for the future. We invite you to join us on this wine adventure and taste exceptional wines with us.
Cheers !
